This weekend, Divine Word College proudly presented the Donaghey Award for Outstanding Service to three remarkable Dubuque-based religious sister communities: the BVM Sisters, Sisters of the Presentation and the Sisters of St. Francis. These congregations have generously opened their homes—and their hearts—to women religious studying at Divine Word College, offering not only housing but a true sense of community. In these welcoming environments, our students receive academic support, share daily life with fellow sisters, and grow in faith through shared experiences and spiritual companionship.
