THE STRATUS AVIATION FOUNDATION ("SAF") IS DEDICATED TO FOSTERING STEM-RELATED LEARNING THROUGH SCHEDULED EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND HANDS-ON TRAINING SESSIONS. PARTICIPANTS ENGAGE IN COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS ON VARIOUS AVIATION PROJECTS, GAINING EXPOSURE TO THE MULTIFACETED ASPECTS OF THE AVIATION INDUSTRY. SAF RECOGNIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF PROMOTING EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITY WITHIN THE AVIATION INDUSTRY, AND THROUGH ITS INITIATIVES, IT STRIVES TO MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON INDIVIDUALS AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY.

Participants will be working on an RV12 kit aircraft utilizing various materials and tools alongside mentors and instructors. The programwill introduce the evolution of flight physics propulsion flight planning navigation design and flight physiology. SAF will supply a partially built RV12 aircraft for the duration of the project.
