In June of 2009, the founders of San Tan Valley American Legion Post 97 chose to form a 100% community service organization American Legion Post 97 joins with other civic minded organizations to help build a greater sense of community for our veterans and youth. It is the mission of San Tan Valley American Legion Post 97 to fully utilize the talents of our member veterans and community partners to develop and effectively implement programs that will benefit veterans, their families, the community and the youth of San Tan Valley.
