Just read “Vitiligo: Etiology and Cure” by Xinghong Yang — and honestly, I’m a bit lost for words. Not because I disagree with the idea of karma (who am I to argue with beliefs that billions hold dear?), and not because I’m unfamiliar with merging metaphysics and science — I still remember Nobel laureate Charles Townes discussing it during our VRF Master Class in 2014. But bringing karma into the cause — and potential cure — of vitiligo? That’s a first. It’s a bold attempt to connect genetics, immunity, emotions, and metaphysics. Yet from a scientific standpoint… well, karma isn’t exactly easy to measure in a clinical trial. Yet, on a deeper level, there’s a strange and beautiful symmetry here. Healing has always been about more than just fixing cells; it’s about restoring balance — body, mind, and maybe even soul. In a world where clinical trials rule the day, maybe there’s still a quiet place for the Dharma Doctor’s wisdom too.
