Wildwood Historical Society | Preserving and Sharing the History of Wildwood Missouri Wildwood Historical Society Located on the far western side of St. Louis County Missouri the City of Wildwood was incorporated in 1995. Two hundred years prior and nine years before the Lewis Clark Expedition Americans took advantage of Spanish land grant offers to settle this area. Over the years ten different communities grew up centered around rural Post Offices that came together to form the city we call Wildwood.
