Double Peak Parent Teacher Organization
We are a nonprofit organization created to support and enrich the education of all Double Peak students. THE PURPOSE OF THE DOUBLE PEAK PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION DPS PTO IS TO HELP FOSTER AND ENRICH THE EDUCATION OF DOUBLE PEAK SCHOOL DPS STUDENTS. THE PURPOSE WILL BE FACILITATED BY SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS THAT HELP BUILD A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SCHOOL, CHILDREN, TEACHERS, FAMILIES, STAFF, AND COMMUNITY. SPECIFICALLY, THE DPS PTO SHALL ENDEAVOR TO: PROMOTE COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS BETWEEN HOME AND SCHOOL FACILITATE PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ADMINISTRATORS, FACULTY,AND FAMILIES STIMULATE A DEEP-ROOTED INTEREST IN EDUCATION IN STUDENTS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITY GENERATE FUNDS TO HELP SUPPORT THE SCHOOL ENCOURAGE CHARACTER, SPIRIT, AND COMMITMENT TO DPS CELEBRATE DIVERSITY AND RAISE SOCIAL AWARENESS AMONG THE LEARNING COMMUNITY OF DPS.
