Since its inception in 2010, the organization has grown to include a Community Food Pantry, Homeless Street Outreach, a Homeless Day Center, Homeless Teen Initiatives in the local schools, Homeless Prevention which includes a Scholarship Program and an Emergency Shelter Program, seasonal assistance, and a nondenominational "Come As You Are" worship service. Our goal is to restore individuals and families to self-sufficiency.

Cy Fair Helping Hands CyFair Helping Hands CFHH a 501c3 nonprofit organization was founded to help the homeless of CyFair become selfsufficient. Since its inception in 2010 CFHH has grown to include a Community Food Pantry enabling CFHH to serve not only the homeless but also the hungry. Programs for our struggling neighbors include provision of Transitional Family Services for families with children scholarships for unprivileged students Homeless Street Outreach a Homeless Day Center programs for CFISD students and events and programs during the holidays and at backtoschool time. CFHH serves those living in the fourteen zip codes within CyFair ISD school boundaries.

Cy-Fair Helping Hands
Today we welcomed CFISD Guidance & Counseling staff and Cypress-Fairbanks ISD/Harris County Youth Service Specialists (social workers) to CFHH to learn how to access our services that directly benefit students. We provide funds for school expenses such as gym clothing, graduation expenses, dual enrollment costs, and even fees for electives through the Upward Progress program, with the goal of each child having what they need or sometimes want, so they will stay in and feel comfortable in school. Education is the best way to escape poverty.
