The Charleston Figure Skating Club has been chartered since 1960. Its mission is to provide programs to encourage participation and achievement. The mission of the Charleston Figure Skating Club is to foster amateur participation in the sport of figure skating and to foster amateur sports competition in the sport of figure skating in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The corporation will foster competition at all levels, including national and international levels.
