THE PURPOSE OF THE ALABAMA STATE NURSES ASSOCIATION (ASNA) IS TO FOSTER HIGH STANDARDS OF NURSING, PROMOTE THE PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT OF NURSES, AND PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF NURSES TO THE END THAT ALL PEOPLE MAY HAVE BETTER HEALTH CARE.
