Founded by Eleanor Roosevelt, Hubert Humphrey, John Kenneth Galbraith, and other progressive leaders, The Americans for Democratic Action Education Fund is dedicated to public education as an essential foundation for a more just and democratic society. The Fund sponsors research on domestic, foreign, economic, military, social and environmental policy; publishes issue papers and special reports; holds conferences and relies on print and electronic media to achieve broad public dissemination of information.
