The Delta Arts Alliance serves as a bridge to connect diverse cultures through their contributions to the arts to create a common vision and to develop strategies for making the arts a more prominent part of daily life in the Mississippi Delta. Our Community Delta Arts Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit located at the Historic Ellis Theatre in downtown Cleveland MS which includes the old Walts Service Station as our Arts Annex for Dance and Performing Arts. The Ellis Theatre includes DAA offices gallery exhibitions Permanent Crosstie Collection PovallSanders Fine Arts Balcony and the Juliet Kossman Whistlestop Stage. Directly across from the Ellis Theatre at the Commerce Building DAA operates roughly 9000 square feet of creative space for community programs that include art education workshops filmmaking music recording podcasts lecture space and the future home of DAA ArtistinResidence studios as we develop Phase II of our campus expansion.
