Simply Destinee dances for life! We are a youth center focused on suicide prevention and awareness. Simply Destinee is founded by a brother/sister duo after the loss of a teen family member to suicide. Our mission is to provide culturally responsive wellness skills that promote youth social-emotional development, and mental health challenges that they are currently facing. Simply Destinee aims to empower youth through music, and other arts as positive outlets to deal with everyday life challenges. This program encourages students to find their own identity while learning positive coping skills, participating in peer support, and taking a leadership role around normalizing mental health awareness. Simply Destinee also offers mental health education opportunities, workforce development, leadership, and youth mentorship to the community.
