STC South Carolina Foothills STC South Carolina Foothills Our Chapter The South Carolina Foothills chapter of the Society for Technical Communication is a professional organization for writers editors graphic artists technical communication students and professors online help authors web developers and other professionals dedicated to the field of technical communication. Our community serves upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina. Some of our members work and reside in Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Greenwood Clemson Six Mile Travelers Rest Marietta Duncan Asheville and Hendersonville. Because of the diversity in our members home and work locations were in the process of taking the steps necessary to become a virtual community.
