Our mission is to share the diverse and rich heritage of glass as a product and historical object as well as telling of the lives of glass workers, their families and communities, and the tools and machines they used in glass houses. The Museum includes representative samples of all glass products...from rich cut glass to bottles and jars, from pressed glass to studio art glass. We display many of the diverse and beautiful objects produced by factories during the past century, both form large and well-known companies and smaller ones that may have escaped historical notice. No other public collection offers such contrasts on a large scale. Education is one of our mission's strongest components. We also house and service one of the finest archival research collections in the United States.
