Sandy Creek Dollars for Scholars® is a nonprofit foundation that supports academic success in our community. The Sandy Creek Dollars for Scholars Chapter has been in existence for 36 years. Our goal is to offer scholarship assistance for graduating Seniors and Alumni from Sandy Creek Central School. Annually, we strive to raise $10,000. We are a non-profit chapter, so all funds are donated or raised through fundraisers held throughout the year. We value higher education and understand the economic challenges that students face in our district. We strive to lighten our students and Alumni's economic burden in their pursuits of gaining a higher education, by facilitating a relationship within the local surrounding community to raise scholarship funds. Together we make a difference.

As part of Scholarship Americas national network of locally based volunteerdriven Dollars for Scholars chapters our mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary education success for our students. Dollars for Scholars chapters like ours help hometown students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds establishing endowments providing assistance with college readiness and the financial aid process and distributing scholarships each year. This website provides resources from our chapter to our volunteers community and students.
