Congratulations to Kenyetta Raelyn for being one of 9 writers selected from a pool of 2,100 applicants to participate in the annual NBC Universal TV Writers Program. The program was created two decades ago to help develop emerging episodic TV writers and prepare them to be staffed on scripted series with the long-term goal of developing the next generation of showrunners. As DAA’s Engagement and Operations Coordinator from 2023-2024, Kenyetta contributed to the development of the CREATE Plan from its inception and built up the organization’s systems for membership, communications, and project management.
