Join us for "Discussing Douglass" this Friday, August 22 at 10 AM at the Brockton Public Library (304 Main St. , Brockton - third floor) This free event will spotlight Anna Murray Douglass—Frederick Douglass’s first wife and an unsung hero of the abolitionist movement. Hear her story brought to life by Jill Wiley’s powerful oration, and discover how Anna helped Frederick escape slavery and supported their family.
