We grieve the heartbreaking loss of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgram, two Israeli Embassy employees murdered outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. just last night. Yaron, a Christian and IDF veteran, dedicated his life to defending Israel’s values. Sarah, through her work with Tech2Peace, built bridges of friendship between Israelis and Palestinians. Both served as peacemakers in their own right. This attack is the direct result of a surge in dangerous misinformation. False claims of genocide and manipulated narratives are being used to fuel global antisemitism and incite violence, now more than ever reaching our own front door. As an organization of both Christians and Jews, we call on U.S. leaders to urgently address the escalating threats facing Jewish communities and Israeli citizens living and working in America. Let this tragedy make one thing clear: “Free Palestine” is no mere call for an independent Palestinian state. It has become a call to kill Jews, Israelis, and those who stand with them. This week, both Jews and Christians lost members of our shared community.
