We highly recommend that homes with pools or access to water have alarms that alert adults. Alarms can be added to doors, windows, gates, and even the pool, and there are many affordable options. However, pool alarm or not, pools accompanied by children should always be guarded because nothing replaces active, vigilant supervision when it comes to preventing drowning and keeping kids safe.
