MEALS ON WHEELS IS A COMMUNITY BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DELIVERING HOT, NUTRITIOUS NOON MEALS AND PROVIDING A DAILY CHECK-IN FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMEBOUND, ELDERLY, OR DISABLED AND ARE UNABLE TO PREPARE THEIR OWN MEALS. FOR MANY INDIVIDUALS, MEALS ON WHEELS IS A SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY SITUATION, SUCH AS AN ILLNESS, AN INJURY OR RECUPERATING FROM A RECENT HOSPITAL STAY.
