The Arc of Southside promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. In 1954 what is now The Arc of Southside was formed by families and the community as a local chapter of The Arc of Virginia and The Arc of the United States. Their hope in building this organization was for their families to have a choice for a better life. Do you believe in Equality Inclusion and Respect for all people.
