Congratulations to Louisburg College alumnus Robert "Bob" Johnson for his induction into the North Carolina Outdoors Hall of Fame! The NC Outdoors Hall of Fame, under the North Carolina Youth Outdoors Engagement Commission and NC Outdoor Foundation, awarded Johnson for his humanitarian efforts through his donations to the community and more. Johnson founded FLOCK (Faithful Love Offering for Christ's Kingdom), a nonprofit focuses on feeding the hungry, supporting mental health and recovery programs, and other community outreach opportunities - especially among youth. Johnson has supported various NC schools, including UNC Wilmington athletics, the NC Coaching Association, local schools, and private parks. On May 16, after Graduate Breakfast, the Class of 2025 met on the front of Main for a graduate photo before heading to Louisburg Methodist Church for Baccalaureate. At this ceremony, student received their honors cords and listened to a Homily from Rev. Laura Wittman. Cords included: Student Ambassador (Blue & White), Student Government Association (Royal Blue), Christian Life Council (Lavender), Honors Program (White), and Business Leadership & Success (Maroon).
