A CHANCE TO THRIVE INTERNATIONAL INC

A Chance to Thrive International (CTI) is a faith-based 501(c)(3) health and human services organization that exists to provide compassionate social care to young women facing motherhood alone in Moldova, Europe's poorest country. Our goal is to provide life-affirming hope and help to young Moldovan mothers so that each pregnancy ends in life for the child and the creation of a strong foundation that gives both mother and child a greater chance to thrive. The young mothers CTI serves are extremely vulnerable and face numerous obstacles. Many come from abusive families. Some grew up in Moldova's orphanage system. All of them suffer from crippling poverty, insufficient education, weak relationship skills, a lack of supportive network, and inadequate living conditions. They are threatened by the malignant malice of human trafficking, and their children are in greater danger of termination, abandonment, or institutionalization. CTI staff and supporters work together to invest in the long-term success of young mothers who are struggling by providing a caring extended family, life skills training, educational opportunities, and emotional and spiritual support. Our mothers become stronger as we work with them to fulfill their potential and create stable, loving families.
