On May 5, 2025, Marcella Ade (President) and Jill Dohner (Incoming President) presented a check to Mrs. Ana Stevenson, Founder and President of Path2Freedom, to assist in the ongoing care and rehabilitation of young women rescued from human trafficking here in Southwest Florida. The Pelican Isle Women’s Club raised the $30,200 from Member donations at their April 10, 2025 Fashion Show fundraising event, hosted by Sher Canada of Shecanlove, and through ongoing charitable contributions from their membership to Path2Freedom, their designated charity. The mission of the Pelican Isle Women’s Club, a Member organization within the Pelican Isle Yacht Club, is to create an atmosphere of enjoyment and camaraderie for its members by hosting monthly luncheons on a variety of topics and by raising much-needed funds to benefit designated local charities. For the 2024/2025 season, and continuing into the 2025/2026 season, the Pelican Isle Women’s Club has selected Path2Freedom as the recipient of its charitable donations. Pelican Isle Yacht Club offers its Members a rich array of social events, on-the-water adventures, and one-of-a-kind experiences in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
