Oklahomas Justice System is Broken OCJR combines the power of researchbacked reforms and a network of policy makers to create a system that will stop the pain inflicted on Oklahomans by an ineffective legal system. The State of Oklahomas Criminal Legal System At the height of Oklahomas incarceration rate crime rates continued to grow. 90 higher burglary rate than the national average 5x more likely for black Oklahomans to be incarcerated than their white counterparts 3rd highest incarceration rate 1 out of 3 relationships experience domestic violence Our Mission Serve as a catalyst for systemic change in Oklahomas criminal legal system to promote just and appropriate accountability while reducing mass incarceration and its generational harm to families. What wex27ve accomplished Oklahomas prison population has decreased by 21 since 2016 and crime rates have fallen along with it.
