AAYSP is a national organization that seeks to identify and mitigate the socio-cultural barriers preventing Yemeni Americans from attaining the highest academic achievement and professional success. We also promote the importance of higher education and professional development amongst Yemeni students and professionals. The deadline to apply is June 30th, 2025. To be considered to be a part of the AAYSP National Board, a person needs to: Complete the membership application form online. Be a professional or college student. Be committed to the AAYSP mission and vision. Have experience in a not-for-profit organization and community services Duties and Responsibilities: Engage in Meetings: Actively participate in AAYSP meetings, including board sessions, strategy discussions, and special community events to further the organization’s mission. Support Growth and Outreach: Contribute to expanding AAYSP’s presence locally by supporting the creation of new chapters and fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the community, all while working to increase membership and engagement. Collaborate on Strategic Vision: Participate in shaping and executing AAYSP’s strategic goals and initiatives that promote leadership, youth development, and Yemeni-American empowerment.
