Aww Inc. focus is on menstruation, sexual health, and feminine hygiene. We aim to add to the voices and efforts promoting WASH locally and globally by:* Providing and encouraging a female perspective in academic, professional and community WASH settings that focuses on menstrual and sexual hygiene & safety; *Gathering, creating and providing sound sanitary solutions for homeless women & domestic abuse survivors in the U.S. and to all women in developing nations lacking safe hygiene and sanitation; *Promoting worth and dignity as a human right and disseminating health and safety information as related to menstruation, sexual health and hygiene with a focus on dignity and equality . We are currently building a multi-pronged, comprehensive program called Worthy Practices that will address: *infrastructure issues *a state’s responsibility in securing human rights and equality*strategies to overcome taboos and stigmas around sexual health and menstruation, education information for girls and boys that should be an integral part of school programs including reusable solutions and environmentally sound waste management *information for the private citizen on how they can help support such projects.
