The Joe Kocur Foundation for Children created in 2009 is dedicated to helping children by providing financial and logistical support to nonprofit organizations that serve them effectively and at times directly to families in need. The Foundation generates its resources through fundraising events that provide opportunities for members of our community have fun with one another and with some of their favorite professional athletes and other accomplished celebritiesall in the spirit of fun and caring. ABOUT JOE Joe Kocur a former NHL hockey player with the Detroit Red Wings was born on December 21 1964 in Calgary Alberta Canada.
