KIDS CORPORATION II was founded in 1971 to address the problems confronting low-income children and families in the aftermath of the urban unrest that devastated Newark. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Newark children through activities that bolster academic skills, promote healthy development and stimulate a love of learning. Each year Kids Corp enables thousands of kids to attend school healthy, motivated, prepared, and full of hope.
