The purpose of A Way Forward is to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Fairfax County, VA transition to safe and independent living by providing assistance for emergency services such as temporary housing, transportation, food and other basic life needs. A Way Forward also provides limited financial assistance to professional staff for training.
