Therapeutic Adventures - IndependencePlus Adaptive Sports is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable education organization Therapeutic Adventures, Inc. provides leadership, programs and specialty therapeutic services To Educate ~ To Challenge ~ To Inspire persons of all ages and abilities. When individuals of have experienced traumatic or catastrophic life events, they must learn positive ways to adapt and overcome these challenges. TA emboldens those we serve with the courage to improve their functional independence, health, fitness, and overall quality of life. We provide year round adaptive sports programs and outdoor adventures, camps, therapeutic retreats, and other services to increase accessibility and breakdown barriers. We are proud to serve: Physical & Developmental Disabilities; Disabled Heroes — Wounded Warfighters, Veterans, & 1st Responders; Cancer Survivors; and Other Complex Medical Needs.
