WATER SAFETY & WANDERING PREVENTION Recorded May 14, 2025 In observance of National Water Safety Month, this webinar raises awareness about water safety for children and young people, especially those with I/DD. The panel of parents, swim instructors, self-advocates and professionals shares resources and strategies for families impacted by the risk of a loved one's wandering that can lead to injury or drowning. Participants learn strategies for preventing wandering that can lead to tragic outcomes, particularly when water is nearby.
