Welcome to the Douglas County Humane Society, serving people & pets in Douglas County, GA The Douglas County Humane Society is not a shelter nor do we operate one. We work closely with the Douglas County Animal Shelter in Douglas County Georgia and are a support system for pet owners and animal lovers in our community. This society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We want to help as many animals as we can. We can always use volunteers and donations.

Helping Pets People in Douglas County GA SpayNeuter Assistance Heartworm Treatment Assistance Community Pet Food Pantry How DCHS Serves the Pets People of Douglas County Spay and Neuter Fund DCHS is pleased to partner with West Georgia Spay Neuter Clinic. To assist Douglas County residents DCHS will pay directly to WGSNC a portion of the cost to spay or neuter your pet. We also assist with funding to ensure animals adopted from Douglas County Animal Services are spayedneutered prior to adoption. Pet Food Pantry Our goal is to provide temporary pet food assistance to families struggling in this economy to keep their pets.
