Wood Island Life Saving Station Association
The Wood Island Life Saving Station has stood watch for more than 100 years. The Town of Kittery owns Wood Island and its Life Saving Station, but it has been declared a liability. We plan to save it for future generations and celebrate its history. TO STABALIZE, RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE LIFE SAVING STATION ON WOOD ISLAND IN KITTERY MAINE FOR THE ENJOYMENT AND EDUCATION OF THE CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
