The BVAC encourages a creative environment in the Buena Vista area by bringing the community together through the arts. WE BELIEVE IN BV! After years of discussing the need and desire to create an organization that would support artistic endeavors in the Buena Vista area, in the fall of 2013 several civic-minded individuals gathered at a small café in downtown Buena Vista, and began an organization which has now become the Buena Vista Arts Council (BVAC). This 501(c)3 non-profit organization supports all art entities-- from non-profit to for profit, individual artists to groups of performers, educational and just-for-fun--serving the full spectrum of demographics in our community.
