Providing a glimpse into Springfield history, open by appointment. Welcoming annual and lifetime members. No admission fee. Donations help cover annual expenses, maintenance & improvements. The Springfield Historical Society’s mission is to develop a lasting, vivid impression of the past that has shaped this Missouri River community. The society sponsors enriching events in an environment that is designed to preserve and display artifacts. The Society aims to foster respect of the past to build a purposeful path for the future.
