TO STRENGTHEN STATE PIPELINE SAFETY PROGRAMS THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF IMPROVED PIPELINE SAFETY STANDARDS, EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND TECHNOLOGY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE USE OF A CONTRACTED ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER AND SIX MEETINGS HELD ANNUALLY. THESE ANNUAL MEETINGS CONSIST OF ONE IN EACH OF THE FIVE REGIONS, ATTENDED BY THE MEMBERS OF THAT REGION, AND A NATIONAL MEETING ATTENDED BY ALL MEMBERS.

NAPSR is a 501 c6 nonprofit organization whose members are the state pipeline safety regulatory personnel who ensure the safe operation of pipelines in the United States. Approximately 85 of the nations 3. 4 million miles of gas and hazardous liquid pipelines are under the watchful eye of NAPSR members.
