To perpetuate and disseminate historical knowledge artifacts,and heritage from prehistoric times to the present and to protect preserve historically significant structures and places of Pickens County South Carolina. The Pickens County Historical Society also maintains repairs renovates and operates the Hagood-Mauldin House as an historical museum.
