Like Aaron Bonner, students who struggle with or succeed in their fight against cancer deserve assistance in their pursuit of a postsecondary education. There are many ambitious students who attend college despite their health setbacks and display ambitious resolve. To help students fighting cancer afford an education, Ready When Your Are Program, awards one-time and recurring scholarships to current and former cancer patients. Recipients are selected by a committee based on the applicants’ personal hardship and financial need.
