Renowned in U.S. as a premier orchestra, we provide diverse, classical music experiences, with innovative education programs serving Fairfax County, Virginia, the Washington, DC region, and beyond. The mission of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra (FSO) is to inspire and engage a large and diverse audience in the Washington D.C. metro area. It accomplishes this through exceptional performances, and educational outreach with an emphasis on reaching underserved students in programs that promote learning opportunities and propel academic achievement. Through community activities, we enhance the lives of our residents while serving as an invaluable cultural resource and artistic ambassador for our region.
