‼️⏰ OWNER SURRENDERED, NOW AT RISK IN OVERCROWDED SHELTER ⏰‼️ This pair were recently brought in and surrendered by owners because they were moving and could not keep their dogs. The male, Leo, has not had any issues in the shelter; he is dog friendly, house trained, leash trained and happy as can be. Unfortunately his female shepherd friend, Susie, has struggled. She came in with a history of needing space and time to warm up but sadly that has put her in danger. The shelter system is not set up for dogs with complex needs and Susie could soon be facing euthanasia for her standoff nature. She is still a sweet girl once she has had time to warm up. The shelter is getting very full and euthanasia can happen at any point with very little notice for either of them. It is CRITICAL that they find homes quickly if they are going to make it out alive. They do not have to stay together!
