Healing Hope Cat Sanctuary

Follow Message Edit

We have a two-fold mission: 1) We take in cats that are special needs and considered un-adoptable due to health, age, personality. We keep these animals on our premises for their life or until we can find a suitable foster home elsewhere. 2) We reach out into our city and also our general area (Southern California) to help with: a) Taking in special needs cats that have no where else to go; b) Helping with the homeless , stray and feral cat population in our city of San Clemente, We do this by either pulling off the street and bringing here either temporarily or permanently, helping with feral cat population (in some cases doing TNR , only if safe and there is a food source, ) and working with residents when there is a cat problem.

Healing Hope Home Page The purpose and mission of HHCS is three fold First we want to provide a safe permanent haven for cats with uncurable chronic or terminal illness old age andor personality problems. These cats are not animals that would be adoptable or could even be sustained in a normal animal shelter setting. However despite taking in these special needs cats we do believe in quality of life rather than quantity of life. We do not let any of our animals suffer and in most cases we do not incur large veterinary bills to do heroic lifeextending medical measures.
