A statewide nonprofit since 2014, the Foundation's Board collectively reflects more than 150 years of patient care, leadership, and education in EMS. The CAPF's mandate includes an array of educational, injury ​prevention, and community initiatives, including California Opioid Prevention by EMS (COPE), Safety City, Helmets for Kids, and the Nicholas Rosecrans Award.
