A MUSICAL LEGACY Established in 2010 to promote Buddy Hollys legendary music so that it continues to inspire future generations of fans and musicians and make the dreams and wishes of Buddy and Maria Elena Holly come true by promoting musical education for young people. SONGWRITERS WEEK Were delighted to be running the first Buddy Holly Songwriters Week UK from 23rd to 27th November this year at the stunning Carr Hall Whitby. New YungBlud Single YungBlud was one of the Foundations first Scholars and we are looking forward to the launch of his new single Strawberry Lipstick written at the Foundationsponsored Chris Difford Songwriting Retreat. Ed Sheeran We are also delighted to welcome Ed Sheeran as a Buddy Holly Educational Foundation Ambassador LATEST AMBASSADORS We are delighted to welcome rock icon Joan Jett country legend Willie Nelson and guitar virtuoso Mark Knopfler.
