For two years, the FPI field team worked tirelessly to facilitate the filming of Emperor tamarin groups for BBC 's latest project, "The Americas", narrated by Tom Hanks. While they may be a new face to television, these tamarins have been studied by our team since 2009, monitoring population, behavior, disease, and more. They face an increasingly threatened landscape, as do all the constituents of the Amazon rainforest. Under the guidance of @g.a.e.w. & @surroundscience, the tireless work of field team members @kkowchefski @j00lzie @eviforest @anasolberg @allstovertheworld @maggie.insitu & @ziuv.nick made this incredible segment come to life.
