Sunset Spark helps new Americans learn creative tech and science skills to advance their educational, cultural, social, and economic opportunities. We do our work in Sunset Park, a working class neighborhood in Brooklyn with tens of thousands of immigrant families from Latin America, the Middle East, and China. This mission is primarily accomplished through boutique, high-quality courses for babies, kids, adults, and families on a wide variety of topics, like computer science and engineering, robotics, and neuroscience. Our programs come from a united joy for technology and education in our community, inspired by our own diverse backgrounds and the hardworking immigrant families we serve.
