
CHEROKEES FOR BLACK INDIAN HISTORY PRESERVATION FOUNDATION
To educate members, supporters and the general public regarding the history and culture of Black Indians in the Cherokee Nation. The group is organized to plan, implement, administer, operate and evaluate programs to carry out the objectives and the purpose of the group to assist in, promote, restore and preserve the history of Black Cherokees. To promote, collect, and preserve Oklahoma Black Cherokee Genealogy, History and Artifacts. And to study the unique cultural diversity of Black Indians for the general benefit and good of the individual and collective Tribes and Representative Communities in Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation. And to improve the quality of life, to reinvigorate and promote cultural awareness and events relating to Cherokee Heritage.
