Operation Valor Arts Veteran designed public art The mission of Operation Valor Arts a 501c3 nonprofit organization is to provide Veterans with training and resources to enable them to design interpretive public art. Forest Hills Veteran Housing Public Art Later in 2024 In the Shade of Service an 18ft high Corten steel and stainless steel Veteran designed sculpture will be installed at 1844 Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Paradigm Shift Veteran Artist vs Civilian Artist. As history demonstrates it is civilian artists who are usually commissioned to create military related public art.
