Where Family is First Family House, Inc. is a non-profit agency in Valparaiso that has served families and children since 1981. Our mission is to nurture children through healthy family interactions in a safe, home-like environment. We provide Supervised Visits and Custody Exchanges, Therapeutic Supervised Visits, and Counseling programs for court ordered families. Without a place like Family House, our clients may not have an opportunity to have a healthy relationship with a non-custodial family member. Custodial parents also have the Family House to help them with a safe secure environment, in which professional staff handle all interactions between partners with restraining orders, protective orders, etc.
