The Freedom Center Military Sky Lounges serve traveling active Military Personnel, Retirees, Veterans, Reservists at Detroit Metro Airport in the McNamara Terminal (Gate A-43), the North Terminal (Gate D-17) and at the Troy and Lansing MEPS We have four centers with the same mission: “Serving those who serve us” Who do we serve? -We serve all U.S. and Allied military service members past and present as well as their immediate family including Gold Star families. Why are Freedom Centers needed? - Provide service members with an opportunity for rest and reflection as they deploy into harm’s way or return home from deployment - Ease the trials of travel for military families - Honor the families of fallen heroes as they make the journey home - Show appreciation for the sacrifices of service members and their families in defense of our freedom
